Position: Staff Account / Bookkeeper
Department: Finance/Accounting
Reports to: Director of Finance and Human Resources
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Strongly Preferred

Summary:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for daily accounting functions of the company in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles and all other regulatory organizations and financial management techniques and practices appropriate to the industry.
Essential Job Functions:
- Preforms daily accounting tasks including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and bank and credit card reconciliations
- Ensures expenses are charged to the correct account and class
- Ensure that accounts payable invoices are paid accurately and timely and that all accounts receivable invoices are correct
- Processes checks for accounts payable with the approval of the Director
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment in a pleasant and prompt manner
- Respond to customer inquires in a pleasant and prompt manner
- Makes and records all bank deposits
- Prepares standard and recurring journal entries and enters them into the accounting system in a timely manner
- Monitors general ledger and reports any variances to the Director and corrects them when asked
- Ensures that all raw material cost invoices are properly entered in Ekos and that all cost of goods sold are correct
- Reconciles monthly physical inventory with shipping/receiving log and perpetual inventory
- Processes semi-monthly payroll in Paycom and ensures it is accurate and on time
- Performs calculations for commissions and quarterly production bonuses
- Ensures retirement calculations are accurate and paid on time
- Completes credit applications and monitors credit limits
- Completes all required Census Forms
- Prepares all necessary tax filings for review by the Director
- Assists with preparation of the monthly financial statements for all business entities included detailed P/L analysis
- Assists with preparation of the annual budget
- Other duties as assigned by the Director and President
Essential Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or 5 years high level accounting experience required.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing /cost accounting strongly preferred.
- Previous experience with Quickbooks and Bill.com strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Google Docs and Sheets required.
- Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills.
- Good work ethic and ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Ability to easily and effectively communicate with others through written and oral communication.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and occasionally lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Strong desire to work in the craft beer industry.

What is the Cellar Team responsible for?
- Ensuring the safe and sanitary transfer of beer.
- CIP (clean in place) of Brite and fermentation tanks, hoses, and other equipment.
- Adding adjuncts to our beers
- Carbonating our beers
- Strict adherence to SOP’s for Cellar Department
- Record and Monitor all beer movement
Other Essential Job Requirements:
- Must be very flexible with your scheduling and have a strong desire to learn.
- Two years of experience in the brewing or manufacturing industry strongly preferred but not required.
- Accredited technical degree or bachelors degree in related field strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of basic biology or chemistry is a plus.
- Ability to lift at least 100 (lbs.) pounds, stand for long periods of time, able to bend, and work in a loud, hot, and fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
- Must have a valid drivers’ license and the ability to safely drive large vehicles.

Prairie Artisan Ales is looking for a results-driven sales representative who has previous experience servicing and expanding accounts in a competitive marketplace to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an internationally recognized brewery.
We currently operate a 50,000 sq ft production facility in McAlester, Oklahoma and a 100 seat innovation brewery taproom in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Our 2020 production grew to over 15,000 barrels shipped making us the 5th fastest growing regional brewer in America. We kept those trends rolling in 2021 growing double digits and becoming the largest producer of beer in Oklahoma. We are now looking for a Market Ambassador in Texas to help us continue this growth and take Prairie Artisan Ales to the next level.
Summary:
The market ambassador will be out in their assigned territory representing the brand as much as possible actively working to promote and sell our beer. You will be the face of Prairie Artisan Ales in Texas.
Essential Job Functions:
Direct Selling: Introduce our beer to distributors, improve placement in existing retail locations including better displaying of our beer, introduce products to underserved retailers, promote the use of our tap handles, ensure our beer is accurately priced in all locations, manage POS budget, manage database of retailers, and effectively hit assigned sales goals.
Promotions: Coordinate events such as beer dinners, glass nights, and staff training with wholesalers. Assist with festivals and other special events, and maximize POS exposure in our accounts.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Prior knowledge of and experience in the beverage industry are strongly preferred.
- A strong desire to work in the craft beer industry.
- Ability to lift at least 35 pound case, maneuver and place 168 pound kegs.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a quick paced, sales environment.
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker.
- Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills.
- Good work ethic and ability to work with little supervision.
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office.

The duties of our Maintenance Tech will include:
- Receiving and responding to maintenance calls and requests
- Assisting with corrective and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety
- Working independently or with assistance on maintenance work orders
- Working with operators and train them on proper maintenance and use of machinery
- Assisting in commissioning and decommissioning of equipment

Our Packaging Line Operators are responsible for safely and efficiently operating the packaging equipment to produce bottles, cans and kegs of finished product according to previously established SOP’s and quality standards and production goals.
Other duties include cleaning kegs, palletizing beer, loading and unloading supplies and finished product.
