Surprise! Key Lime Pie is Back.
I learned a medium amount about lime varieties in preparation for writing you this newsletter.
First of all, the big green limes that we’re all used to squeezing over a crispy fish taco while watching kids throw rocks at seagulls — those are Persian limes. Persian limes are less acidic (and less delicate) than are Key limes.
I’d argue that Key limes are more sophisticated and are the sexier lime. That’s the kind of lime we used to make this beer. Also vanilla. We’ve started shipping this 5% ABV sour ale all over! Look for it soon.
