Do you think it’s weird when people throw birthday parties for their pets? Well, we sometimes throw birthday parties for a beer brand.

Each year this beer has evolved a little. Originally when we released it we just threw buckets full of literal birthday cakes into it. The most recent version included toffee and caramel sauce.

I suggested we dump some high-proof ethyl alcohol into the fermentation tank and light the top of the liquid like a birthday candle, but the brewers rejected this idea and reported me to OSHA and the FBI.
