It’s Event Season!

It is event season and Prairie has been busy supplying beer to thirsty festival goers and expanding boundaries. We’ve been spending some time on the east coast getting to know our friends, supplying beers to an awesome event, and meeting a few others that do what we do. We were able to spend some time in the Boston area, visiting with some of our Shelton friends. We spent some time at Row 34 and Armsby Abbey enjoying their hospitality, delicious food and wonderful beer. While there, the crew of Trillium Brewing Co. let us in to tour their facility and see them in action.

That was all before we headed out to The Berkshires of Massachusetts to attend Welcome Campers. Welcome Campers is the “anti” music festival put on by the creative team behind The Wild Honey Pie. We were the only beer vendor for the event, so it was an awesome chance to get away with music and beer lovers for 2 days of camping and Prairie exclusivity. We shared the love with Bomb!, Standard, Ace, Prairie Vous Francais, and Funky Gold Mosaic.

Gena and Micki are headed back to the east coast, this time to Portland, Maine, to participate in the Belgian Beer Fest hosted by Beer Advocate and Allagash Brewing Co. This is our first time attending and pouring at this event, and we’re excited to share Prairie Vous Francais, Ace, 4th Anniversary, and Ape Snake with everyone. Come out and say hello if you’re in the area!

Back on the home front we attended the Mesta Festa last weekend. Micki summed it up best saying, “Mesta Festa is probably one of the longest running neighborhood festivals in OKC. It might even be the only one. This was Prairie’s first year to join in on the excitement. It’s definitely an event that each neighbor looks forward to each year. It’s full of life, laughter, and dogs! All the things we value here at Prairie.” We had a great time meeting everyone there!

As always, we appreciate seeing you all at our events and the huge support! Stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter pages for future events!
