Accounts Payable/Receivable and HR Clerk

Position: Accounts Payable/Receivable and Human Resources Clerk
Department: Executive
Reports to: Director of Finance and Human Resources
Education:  High school diploma required, some college preferred
Location:  McAlester, OK
Classification: Part-time with the possibility to become full-time

computer savvy, eager to learn new things and able to juggle multiple tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an internationally recognized brewery.

Summary:
Provide excellent administrative support in both the Finance and Human Resources Department. Requires meticulous attention to detail while processing a very high volume of paperwork.

Essential Job Functions:
Provide support to accountants by gathering all data they need and submitting it to them.
Scan and upload all invoices and receipts to our accountants
Post deposits and make payments using Bill.com
Process payroll in Paycom
Assist with administration of employee benefits
Answer phones
Greet people when they enter the brewery
Scan items onto the server for multiple departments
Data entry and filing
Prepare correspondence
Make copies
Pick up mail daily
Go to the bank to make deposits
Schedule interviews and meetings
Other administrative duties as assigned by the Director

Essential Job Requirements:
Must have previous accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing experience
Some college preferred but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft office software required
Previous experience with QuickBooks online and Bill.com strongly preferred
Exhibits a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive company and employee information
Takes initiative to get work done without being asked
Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills.
Good work ethic and ability to work with little supervision.
Pleasant in person and on the phone
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
Ability to easily and effectively communicate with others through written and oral communication.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
Ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor
Proficient typing skills
Knowledge of accounting and financial principles
Ability to sit for long periods of time and occasionally lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Strong desire to work in the craft beer industry.
